The Church is committed to a partnership with a congregation at the Nong-Chun Presbyterian Church in Suwon, Korea. Delegates from each Church visit yearly or bi-yearly.
This program provides animals (cows, pigs, goats, llamas and chickens) to families, while teaching them how to preserve and produce their own food for themselves and their community. As people share the animals' offspring with others - along with their knowledge, resources, and skills - an expanding network of hope, dignity, and self-reliance is created that reaches around the globe. For more information on this wonderful organization, visit www.heifer.org. The Church also hosts a Heifer Brunch each February to raise funds for the program.
This reading incentive program offers global education opportunities and fosters in children a love for reading, a passion to help others and a way to help create a better world. Children get sponsors for each book they read. The goal is to raise money to buy gifts of livestock through Heifer International for struggling families who have few resources and need an ongoing source of income.
