Membership Classes

Our Church welcomes all and invites them to participate in any of our programs and ministries. Church members comprise the core of our Church community. They are committed to supporting the Church with prayer, time, and a financial commitment. We would like you to become a member of our Church! As a “member of the family,” you may:

• Participate in a variety of fun and interesting activities offered throughout the year
• Join the fascinating book discussion group and learn more about the cultures and world around us
• Become a volunteer
• Join committees
• Participate in our auction and Church fair
• Lend your voice to our choir
• Share your personality and baking/cooking skills with our friendly hospitality group and so much more! 

Membership Classes

We offer series of membership classes throughout the year (a series of two classes at a time) for those interested in joining the Church. The content focuses on the Church's beliefs and mission, and on becoming acquainted with the people who comprise the Church community. We spend time talking about how we use the Bible, and on our basic beliefs and religious practices. We discuss the history and structure of the United Church of Christ along with the history and governance of the Church of Christ, Congregational. Finally, we help new members understand how they may serve and be served by the Church. New members are received on the Sunday following the series of classes.
