We are encouraged by the Covid-19 vaccine rollout and lower positivity rate in Connecticut and will be resuming limited capacity in-person worship services beginning March 21st. We will continue using Eventbrite for reserved seating and are now taking reservations for the upcoming services. All of the same protocols will be in place, masks must be worn and social distancing observed. Services will continue to be live-streamed on YouTube as well.

Join us for live streaming of our Sunday Service, every week at 10AM, at our YouTube Channel.

Holy Week

We begin Holy Week as we remember Jesus as he rode into Jerusalem to a parade of well wishers. The week quickly turned ugly and everyone turned their backs, denied Jesus and betrayed him. Humanity is fickle and limited. Yet Jesus gave the ultimate sacrifice and taught us the depth of his love.                                            With great joy we celebrate the empty tomb on Easter morning! Jesus has risen from the dead. Praise the Lord! You are invited to celebrate with us giving glory to God!

Our Values

Church of Christ Congregational is a faith community that gathers around Word and Sacrament to be nourished, called, and sent into God’s world in witness and service to others in the name of Jesus Christ. The congregation is a member of the United Church of Christ (UCC.) We believe that no matter who you are or where you are on life’s journey, you’re welcome here!

Food Collection

The Newington Human Services is seeking assistance from our congregation concerning the donation of designated items for families in need. We are therefore requesting non perishable food items including bags of rice, cans of soup and hot cooked cereals (Oatmeal/Cream of Wheat) and liquid dish detergent, laundry detergent and dishwasher detergent. We will be collecting all donations on Saturday March 27th from 9:00am to 12:00 noon at the North door entry to Fellowship Hall. Sponsored by Board of Missions and Social Action.
