Green Church

“We care for God’s creation by adopting and advocating environmental stewardship that will preserve and restore Creation for our descendants and for all living things on Earth.”*

In the spring of 2007, our Church began the initiative to become a Green Church.

​

Our Green Church vision is to be a Church which:

• Assesses the energy use of our church and make recommendations.

• Examines ways to make our church life more eco-friendly

• Educates the congregation about environmental issues, and environmental justice issues.
